Letter From the EICs
BY ANUSHA SENAPATI '24 & KÉRA MATTHEWS '24
Hi friends,
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and a new school year is upon us. But fear not—we are here to lift up your spirits! We are back with another sparkling issue to put a pep in your step during Back-to-School season. The Spectrum is excited to deliver yet another spectacular collection of stories from and beyond our school. Hopefully you remember that we’re your lovely connoisseurs Anusha and Kéra. We hope that you’re picking up this paper expecting thorough analyses of everything under the sun—both the factual and the frivolous. We are dedicated to sharing diverse voices and perspectives, and we want our words to resonate with each and every one of you out there. For those of you who are brand new to our school, we welcome you with open arms and pens! On the days where your teacher hands back a test you failed, nobody has the same lunch as you, and you jog into your class a minute after the bell rings, pick up a paper! Although high school is a joyous experience, it’s also filled with uncertainty and dread, but we can remedy that with our warm and whimsical words. Last but certainly not least, we strive to make this a socially-conscious paper in all ways that count. All walks of life are valuable, and we want to take our time to make this a publication that you can trust and count on. To the new year! X’s and O’s, Anusha and Kéra |
