Letter from the EICs
BY ANUSHA SENAPATI '24 & KÉRA MATTHEWS '24
Hi friends,
To be or not to be? We say, be! Spring is nearing, and we’re excited to embrace Punxsutawney Phil’s hopeful sights. And so sure, spring is the time of hope but also, in our opinion, it’s all about love. When in love, vulnerability is inevitable. You may catch yourself pouring out your heart’s content, and it can be unusual at first, but isn’t that what makes love so personal and beautiful? Join us in this issue as we talk openly about vulnerability. I (Anusha) have a few words of wisdom to share with you all, from male sensitivity to an analysis on our susceptibility to social media’s influence. Don’t be too alarmed if you start feeling a little too bold once you put this issue down! We were also in the mood for some funky articles this issue, so be sure to stick around for How to Deal With College Rejection (oh, us poor seniors) and discovering Easter eggs in movies, just to name a few. Speaking of love, the greatest love of our life for the last four years has been The Spectrum. With heavy hearts, we’d like to officially announce that this is our last issue operating as EICs. But save your tears! We’ll be back in the next issue to say our diligent goodbyes :). In the meantime, keep peeking into meetings and savoring the final school season with us Spectrummers! Toodles, Késha |
