Letter from the EICS

Merry January!
With winter comes sledding, snow days, and possibly seasonal affective disorder. While it can feel isolating at times, there is a particular beauty about the silence of falling snow. So have no fear! Slap some Aveeno on those cracked hands and get ready to take the day by (snow)storm! As we look at our reflections in the ice on the ground, it’s also easy to think about winter in the more simple times of our lives: our youth. From academic and social pressures to feeling like time is slipping through our dry fingers, it can be easy to get lost in a state of melancholic nostalgia. But instead, we challenge you to look ahead: the power of youth in politics and in revolutionizing workplace norms are just two of many courses of action young people are beginning to take.
